  • Manage a team of 6 designers and work with production team

  • Develop concept, color and fabric directions for Rudsak, Rud and Atelier Noir lines that can work for the needs of 3 retail deliveries, fashion shows, marketing, merchandising and make sure 50% is classic, 40% is casual and 10% is fashion oriented

  • Give creative direction to the design team, buyers, stylists, marketing, and merchandising.  This includes the concept, color, and fabric direction of the 3 deliveries.  Ideas of bundles, hero products, vignettes, target customer and strategies to maintain good traffic to the stores are discussed. 

  • Review sales with sales analysts to strategize what styles to repeat or update for future collections (these styles are considered the “bread and butter” of the business)

  • Constantly strategizing how to maintain the “bread and butter” elements of the collection while instilling innovative ideas to keep the brand fresh and attractive

  • Present designs and latest updates to bestselling styles

  • Visit stores to analyze problems and successes as well as watch customer-product interaction
