Forties-Inflected Victoriana

Inspiration: This season was taken by the sculpting and tailoring period of the Victorians and 40's fabrics.  Present, are a  jubilee of sculpted shoulders, pouf sleeves, ruffles at the hips, and great swags of fabric pooling on the floor in rich fabrics like metallic jacquards, violet moiré silk, double-layer floral prints, and a gingersnap plaid.
